![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() To see a Zed appearing in glowing blue and disappearing after dying is a big turnoff.ĭefinitely worth the money just for the endless mode levels. The woman from the agency talks to you so there's a buggy hologram in your face when you're trying to walk around.Īfter reading some other comments here, I must agree the fact that the game is "in a broken simulation" is fucking stupid. The biggest downside so far was the drone accompanying you. I picked it up even with the bad PC reviews because I really love Killing Floor and am surprisingly surprised so far. ![]() There was some puzzle where you have to find parts in the level with a flashlight which wasn't that interesting to me tho. Let's say I'm dual wielding pistol but need to shoot the grenade you have to holster your guns and pick up the grenade, pull the pin then take back your guns which I found fun and immersive. You have holsters on your waist and on your back + a flashlight on your chest and grenade holder. TL DR: Gameplay is really fun so far / biggest downside is a bad positionned hologram when woman from agency is talking to you The co-op is really just solo with another player, there's nothing really co-op specific, it's just a little more fun with a friend. No problems that I can really report there. The solo experience is still great though. It's a shame because it is a fun game that's meant to be played in co-op, but the connection issues really hinder it. Even then, sometimes there's rubber banding with the teleporting (you go forward and it sligs you back to where you teleported from). It forces you to snap turn, even if you have smooth turn on and locomotion is almost unusable for how rough it is. I'm used to it from playing on PC, but it's really a big issue that needs fixed.Īlso, it bugs some of the controls for the client player. The person that's not host will always feel like they're lagging, no matter the quality of the host's connection. No matter what, there's always connection issues in co-op. However, the biggest issue with the game right now is the same one on PC, and that's co-op. Objects close to your face look extremely sharp, with only a little aliasing in distant objects. Other than that, it's about as good as I could imagine the controls being for PSVR. Smooth locomotion works OK enough on the Move controllers, just wish there was a walk backwards button instead of having to point your hand backwards. Played it a little bit last night when it launched and I can say that it's very faithful to the PC version. I can speak from both perspectives since I have it on Oculus and got it for PSVR to play with a friend. Game Discussions Previous AMAs PSVR Dev?
